I am 45 yrs. old and was just dx w/ Endo during a Laproscopy surgery 3 weeks ago. My ob was surprised to discover that Endo was the cause of all of my pelvic issues. She was doing the Lap. to go after 2 lrg. ovarian cysts that ended up being the choc. endo types of cysts. The first 2.5 wks after surgery I was super ahppy b/c all of my pelvic pain and Edno symptoms went away other than surgery recovery pain). My nagging low back pain was gone along with my aching / burning ovary pain too! I also had no bladder issues post surgery b/c the dr. had removed the endo she found growning on my bladder. I had lots of energy and felt like a new woman, & I lost 5 lbs of tummy bulge from the swelling I had before surgery,until YESTERDAY!!! All of my symptoms are back, the buring ovary pain, back pain and pressure on my bladder along with a low grade general burning pain in my low pelvic cavity. I am also starting to swell in my lower tummy again and IT HURTS!!! What the heck, can this be endo coming back already @ 3 weeks post op??? It feels exactly the way it did before surgery and I am very discouraged. Please help with any advice you can pass on. My dr. said that she thought that the Endo might return within 3 years, but 3 WEEKS is a bit insane...
