Hi Ladies,
It's interesting that ya'll have describe my exact symptoms...EXCEPT...I
do not have a uterus, ovaries, gallbladder or and appendix! The pain is
still there and even worse than before my gallbladder was taken out last
month. I'm on Nexium for GERD and recently put on hormones for HRT
since my last ovary was removed because the doctors thought my pain (on
the right side) was "referred" pain from a small cyst on my left ovary.
I did have a mucocele on my appendix, so that was removed along with my
gallbladder (just sludge) "while they were in there".
I sometimes feel that if I were a man, my doctors would be doing more to
find the cause of this pain. It feels exactly like gallbladder pain.
Mine is not dependent on what or when I eat, but I am careful what I put
in my mouth and how much. You would think, that since I've been so
cautious about my food now, that I would be losing weight. Instead, I'm
bloated, puffy and miserable.
If this is not caused by Endometriosis (sp?) what other possible things
could it be? This is a weird description of the pain, but it starts in
the back underneath the right rib cage (above the waist), comes up to
the right shoulder blade and through the right breast like electric
fingers when it reaches the breast.
