living with chronic pelvic painFrom: rai (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Nov 29 11:55:12 2007
I am trying to find someone that can relate to the difficulties of living with chronic pelvic pain, that also knows what to do to cope with it and how not lose your dreams, goals, and relationships because of it. Someone who has been there, done that, and was able to move on. I was diagnose about 4yrs again with endometriosis and pcos. Along with those I also get chronic hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. I have had to have 2 surgeries to remove the cyst because they got to be to painful. That was when they found out that I did have endometriosis and they said that it was probably a big contribute to the pain. My dr had me take the depo lupron shot which only made me more miserable while still continuing to have severe pain. I am now on a list of narcartic but still in so much pain. I feel that I have given up in away since I am constantly in pain, I can't work, if I stand more then 15 min. I am in severe pain to the point that I can't walk. So now I mainly sit in front of the tv with nothing else to do besides make dr. appt. in search for a dr. that will know how to help me. I just don't know what to do. On top of which my entire family is on the east coast and my husband and I are now in CA because of the USMC. I have been so lonely yet to worn out to even try to make new friends (especially since once you finally make a friend they get relocated). I guess that is why I have turned to this forum. I really wish that I can meet someone who understands what I have been and still am going through. Also if anyone know of way for me to deal with this situation better, I am all ears. Thanks for taking the time to read my story. I will appreciate any thing at this point.
