Hi Marci, All in all, my wedding reception turned out great. I did gain a little bit of weight (about 15 lbs overall) but, one thing I thought worked out for the best was that the ONLY thing I could stand to drink pretty much throughout the whole Lupron mess was water. So I was totally myself at my wedding, ok well not TOTALLY myself (hot flashes and all) and with over 500 pictures taken only ONE actually caught me in a massive sweat..but I have such a huge happy smile on my face, it's now one of my favorite moments to have been captured! Go for a sleeveless dress even though youre getting married in February, trust me!! Avoid pit stains right from jump!! At the height of my night sweats, it was winter time and we had a skylight over our bed. I would lay in bed with it open when it snowed so it would cool me off!!! HONEST! lol My poor husband, I felt so bad for him...I would wake up in the middle of the night to find him sleeping on the couch because he couldnt lay next to me. He said that the massive heat would just radiate off of me and he couldn't sleep because of it. I would cuddle him in my sleep and he said he was shocked how within 5 seconds his pajamas were soaked..now we can laugh about it, thank god. And, he knows how to be prepared if I have to do the Lupron again or when I start normal menopause. I wouldn't worry too much about the side effects for your day. Whatever is going to happen, will..something always goes crazy at weddings, no matter how hard you try to avoid it..at least this you can kinda feel in control about; sleeveless dress and tons of water. My best to you and your fiance...
