i also had a lap over 5-6 years now and last year started to have pain in my belly button...the pain eventually went away and was replaced with discharge and bleeding....this is now happening to me twice a year...i'm wondering whether you have found out any more info on this?

i've been to the ER and family doctor and noone knows the cause....i have recently begun to think that it may have to do with the scar tissue from the lap....that it has not "healed" fully and therefore becomes infected for some reason?...

i'd be interested in finding out if anyone has any ideas or any suggestions on how to potentially stop this from happening?
