Wow. Why did your doctor wait so long and let that cyst grow so big? Yikes. I have actually had way more cysts on the pill, than off the pill. Doctors say the pill is supposed to help with cysts, but I think the added estrogen in the pill makes them grow bigger and more frequently too. I used to get them every 6 months on the pill and i have only had 3 cysts in 6 years, being off of it.

Don't be discouraged. I have a friend who only has one ovary as well. It took her 3 years after trying to get pregnant, and then BOOM! Two babies in a row! She was very surprised! It can depend on the man you are with too, if their sperm count is low..that could make it more difficult. Before you think it's all you, have your man tested to see if he is functioning properly as well.
