Niki,

I would be too! That's crazy! They should at least still be giving you Vicodin if it's only been 3 weeks since your surgery. My friend had surgery almost 6 weeks ago, and she still has to take vicodin twice a day for pain.

Maybe you could fax your info about just having surgery to the specialist, and he could call in some pain meds for you, until you can make it in to see him. I don't see how he could refuse if you have the proof of surgery and it was not that long ago. I've taken Darvocet too, it is supposed to be a step below Vicodin, but it does NOTHING for me....you should not have to suffer through that...I'm so sorry! I bet your insides are still healing as well. My doctor said 6 week recovery for all the insides to heal. If you have endo removed from your bowels and bladder, they stay sensitive for a while.

Hope you can get some help!

Sincerely, Andrea
