I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experiences with Mirena. I have had two laps, one of which was lap excision about 8 months ago. I have begun to have problems again and very heavy bleeding during my periods. I have had two doctors recommend this device, as i can not take regular birth control pills, etc due to a prior blood clot. I refuse to take Lupron. I feel like Mirena is a last resort and I am willing to try it but nervous about side effects.
