Draining endometriomas rarely results in significant longterm improvement since the cysts generally return within a very short period of time. The entire cyst wall needs to be removed to effectively accomplish longer term benefits. So I do agree with the 2nd opinion that you should excise (or remove) the cyst walls and any visible implants of endometriosis. In my experience the best tool to perform this excision is the CO2 ultrapulse laser, but others have used a variety of tools with good results.

Good Luck!!
