Previous message: Mary: "Re: Hope" I am seriously considering excision surgery with Dr. Orbuch in NY. She does NOT believe in Lupron, and basically told me that any hormonal suppression method does not get rid of the disease. She also seemed to be saying to me that Lupron and other drugs can damage our bodies, memories, etc. Has anyone had excision surgery with her? What was it like? I am very nervous to have another surgery - I just had a lap in June and I feel a lot worse [didn't think this was possible] than I did before the surgery. I am so sick every day, and I need help and hope. Can anyone offer advice? I am going to see my RE on Friday, and I don't know what to do. He had me taking Femera with progesterone, but this was difficult to tolerate. It did shrink the cysts though. Thanks for listening.
