Hi there,

Kelly,

I think starting a support group is a very nice thing! I think women can only discuss endo and feeling like crap so much, though....

I think talking about ways to heal, maybe everyone bringing some kind of a healthy potluck dish or snack, talk about how you can make your relationships better, while dealing with endo. I think an endo meeting would be nice if it was fun, relaxing, informative - like some kind of therapy. I would look forward to going to that. I think sitting around, talking about how sick you are, will just make women focus on that even more. Find ways to make them feel hopeful, happy....

I think this website could give you some good ideas on what to discuss at meetings...It's got healthy recipes, exercises to do for endo pain, talks about yoga and meditation, herbal remedies, inspirational reading, doctors....etc. Anyway, that's my advice and I hope it helps! :)
