Re: Help: Need Dr. In Greater Sacramento, California AreaFrom: andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Oct 29 13:23:29 2007
Hi there, I don't know how close this is to you, but this doctor is supposed to be one of the best specialists out there! He did a surgery on my friend D, about 2 months ago. She was in major pain and says since the surgery, her pain is maybe a 2, if anything at all! Please make sure your daughter goes to a specialist. They know their way around the ENTIRE abdominal cavity, as endo can grow on the bladder, intestines, kidneys....and regular OB's don't have the knowledge or capability to do surgery on those areas! Most often regular docs leave endo in there that they don't feel comfortable removing. Specialists have an 80% success rate, while regular docs only have 30%. Most women who's endo recurrs right away is because they did not go to a good enough doctor. This doctor also sounds very compassionate. Finding a good endo doc is almost next to impossible! I have looked for 20 years and just found the right one. Having my first surgery in January now, in Texas. Good luck to you and I hope this helps! This doctor is in Los Gatos...I don't know exactly where that is, but I think it would be worth the trip to go to him. Start off by calling his nurse and see what can be done. GOD BLESS, Andrea http://www.drcook.com/indexold.html
