hi your story is alot like mine! I was diagnosed at 14 i am 28 now. im fixing to go thru yet another lap! #5! I tried lupron one shot gave me drug induced lupus! I posted more about it on another thread titled lupron what to expect i think was the title. I would highly recommend seeing a specialist! I am copying/pasting my reply to her here as well. Good luck in your decision!

My ob convinced me to do lupron to. However my experience was horrible. not trying to scare you but would also like to advise you to research before you make your decision. Lupron is a temporary bandaid. When treatment begins you may be one of the lucky ones who dont have many side effects. or you could be like the 100's of women who are still suffering today (yahoo group lupronvictims) Dont just rely on the website tap runs for your info. I had my first shot of 6 on 10/2 by 10/4 i was in severe joint pain. once i complained to my ob/gyn he claimed not from lupron. then after my 3rd time calling his office manager/nurse stated that i had reumatoid arthritis and they could no longer treat me. to find another doctor. I went to a new ob/gyn who is doing lap surgery next week. I also saw a reumatologist. my ra panels came back normal one test he did however showed i was in drug induced lupus. his exact words were never ever take another shot. that lupron more than likely was the cause. He also confirmed that lupron caused the joint pain. I would suggest seeing a specialist. I spoke with Heather at Dr Sinervos and Albee office. She is very helpful. They cut out the endo. She too suffered fertility issues for many years and had like 20 something surgeries for her endo. she went to dr albee and after excision surgery she conceived 4 weeks later. she has been painfree for 11 years. the specialists such as dr redwine, albee, sinervo do not use lupron. As soon as I have all my records together I plan on forwarding them to dr sinervo's office for consult. Sorry such a book just wanted to let you know what i have learned! Good Luck in your decision!
