bladder nodule ... endo?

Last year, I had a pelvic/rectal ? exam and the gynecologist said that he felt a nodule that might be endometriosis. He didn't bother to investigate further. 3 months later I had an ultrasound ( still for pelvic pain) which shows a 1.5cm solid nodule inside the anterior wall of the bladder. Was referred to a urologist for cystoscopy and trans-abdominal needle biopsy which all came back inconclusive. MRI showed a soft tissue mass between abdominal wall and outer anterior wall of bladder attached to bladder wall(close to the position of possible urachal remnant), but ultrasound says intramural bladder mass. It is been 7 months and I still don't know what the mass is nor what to do with it.

Does this sound like bladder endometriosis ? Is it possible that it is the same "nodule" that the gynecologist had mentioned ?

I had another ultrasound last month which did not show significant change in the mass. My urologist suggested to watch it with regular ultrasound or surgery (laparotomy + partial cystectomy).

I am 23 years old college student and am terribly scared of surgery but I am also concerned that waiting will just lead to worse prognosis. Please give some advice. Thank you very much.
