Re: Anyone know how to manage endo pain?

I know, it sucks. Sorry for your pain, Dana. I have to take 3-4 advil, along with a 10mg vicodin for my pain and sometimes the vicodin makes me nauseous, but I take a dramamine (motion sickness pill) along with it, and it's fine. Maybe you could try that? It seems most endo pain is too severe and nothing but opiates are strong enough. My doc told me that taking a few advil and a benadryl helps the opiate to work stronger, so that's how I take it, so I don't have to take as much, but with the dramamine, I definately get drowsy too. There's just no way around it. I use a heating pad also.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just give ourselves some sort of shot in our abdomen, like an epidural for the week....that's what I want! :) My period is starting today too...blah.

Take care, Andrea
