What bothers me most is, TAP has been convicted twice of bribing doctors
to prescribe it and paid a billion in fines so far. Why would they have
to be bribed to prescribe a drug if they believed it would help people?
Wouldn't the doctors willingly want to prescribe it?
So that says right there, that maybe the docs thought it was too
dangerous and did not want to prescribe it, but TAP made them offers
they could not refuse, like expensive vacations, medical grants
bonuses.....that's all fact in the law documents. I don't think the
doctors are so innocent in all of this. I think many of them fully know
of the harm this drug can cause, but want the kickbacks that TAP
provides them.
