Hi there,

I have not yet had a surgery because I had some insurance problems, and now the holidays are getting too close and no one can commit to staying with me yet. My pain management/endo specialist just has me on 10mg vicodin for now, and I also take Hyoscyamine for bowel spasms. I get that with my period, so that seems to take away some of the abdominal pain. I have also been taking tons of vitamins lately, chinese herbal PMS TEA, and I have been doing yoga, a lot of stretching and hand weights, trying to keep my body limber and strong. I have been thinking of also trying acupuncture, even though I have a hugh needle phobia! I think synthetic hormones do more harm than good, so if the depo shot does not help you soon, I would try something else. Just don't give up and know the right doctor is out there somewhere for you.
