the reason doctors push LupronFrom: andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Oct 9 23:17:37 2007
TAP Pharmaceuticals was already found guilty once of bribing doctors to prescribe and overcharge for their drug, Lupron in 2000. They paid $890 million in fines to the government and insurance companies for fraud and illegal marketing. Now, it seems there is another law suit because they are still doing the same thing! How can they get away with this? They are putting so many women's lives in jeopardy. What a surprise.....How many of you have felt like doctors push Lupron on you so insistently, without giving you the option to say no? I have felt that way many times, but have always refused to take it. This is why, ladies. Doctors benefit in a BIG way. This drug is more harmful than good and must be taken off the market and the company held accountable for making all of the women who have taken it suffer! I have never heard of any victims of this drug suing TAP. I know, everyone is probably too sick to want to mess with it, but something has to be done. I am seriously thinking of starting some kind of petition or consulting with a lawyer on behalf of all of you who are now sick from Lupron. What do you think?
