Hi All, I am in need of an endo-patient-friendly pain management doctor in or near the San Francisco Bay Area. Preferably one is the Berkeley/Oakland region but am open to getting recommendations for anywhere within about 45-60 minutes or a bit more from San Francisco. I am in desperate need of a recommendation, as the two pain doctors I have found randomly through my insurance have not been helpful. I really need someone who is: 1) a good listener 2) patient enough to try different medicines and doses, if necessary, till the right fit is found 3) willing to let the patient be part of the decisions and listens and takes patient input and feedback with treatments into account 4) does not have any problem with prescribing narcotics/opioids (Fentanyl, Dilaudid, Oxycontin, etc.) for pain and endo pain If you know of a pain management doctor who fits this description or who you were happy with and think they will be a good doctor for an endo patient, please leave their name here for me (not through email please). I will be forever grateful. PLEASE, if you live or know anyone in the Bay Area who can recommend a good pain doctor, please try to find out the doctor's name. My quality of life depends on me finding the right care. Thank you so much everyone!! My thoughts and prayers go out to all the other women suffering out there.
