Hi there,

I am from Colorado, but live in Dallas right now. I could ask my family members if they know of any good docs there. In my experience, NSAIDS really tear up your stomach and really don't help at all, I would just stick with pain meds. I usually take one vicodin with a couple advil when my cramps start. You will probably have to take something like Prilosec for a couple weeks to repair what the NSAIDS have done to your stomach, then you will probably be ok to take ibuprofen. Vioxx and Celebrex tore up my stomach years ago. Vicodin does not give me full relief, it used to, but I think I have built up a tolerance over the last 6 years. A friend of mine gave me an oxycontin a while back that they had and boy, that did the job! But, my doc won't prescribe them to me. They did not give me that yucky high feeling, but totally numbed my abdomen like an epidural. I will look into docs in Colorado for you. Take care.
