Re: LUPRON ?--Please RespondFrom: andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Oct 8 18:05:22 2007
Hi there, I've never taken it, but my friends on here say usually the second week things start happening. Some women get side effects worse than others, so hopefully yours are not so bad. Be sure and take lots of calcium supplements and vitamins, to fight the effects it may have on your bones. If you start to feel really terrible though, please don't get another shot. Some women on here have permanent bone pain from Lupron. I wish you the best and hope it helps you. If it does not help, just know there are other alternatives out there to try and don't give up. I take a natural progesterone that has helped my endo symptoms tremendously for the last 5 years, but still suffer with 2-3 days a month of severe pain. I think this is as good as I'm going to get though, without surgery. I am contemplating whether or not to have my uterus out with a lap sometime in January now, if all the supplements I'm taking do not make things a little better. Take care, Andrea
