Hey there, Teresa

Here is the 9-page leaflet that patients are supposed to receive before being given Lupron injections:

http://www.hemingways.org/GIDinfo/drugdata/lupron_depot.pdf

I don't think she even gave you the right leaflet! In her e-mail, she tells you to read the package insert and that's all it says? Is HOT FLASHES?? Then she says, "I'm not sure where you're hearing about these other adverse effects?"

Well, HERE YA GO, B*^*&&!

This leaflet I have says, Cardiovascular System: Palpitations, Syncope, Tachycardia, Hypotension, Pulmonary Embolism...and many more not having to do with the heart.

And she wants you to take it, knowing you have a pace maker??!! Crazy B*%ch! Sorry, but boy does this make me angry! They are risking our lives by making us feel we have to take this stuff....

Print this out and fax it to her or e-mail it to her! Read pgs. 6-8, they tell of all the warnings and side effects. Now, you can show your lying doctor that there are way more risks than just hot flashes. All the docs in the past who wanted me to take it, said the only side effects were hot flashes too. Liars!!

I don't think ANYONE is given the REAL leaflet, which is supposed to be a law of the FDA. I would also send her e-mail to the FDA and say, why do doctors all pressure us to take this dangerous drug and lie about the side effects of it? And they don't give us the correct leaflet?

If I were you, I would be very pissed too! I would love to get that junk taken off the market. I'm so sorry you are going through all this, it seems we all have to...why won't anyone listen to us? Get your records from her and I hope you find someone good. Ask D about Dr. Cook at CEC.

Try and have a good weekend....
