Hi Jill,

Have you seen this website? It tells what to expect and how to prepare for surgery so that you will be more comfortable. I am told that I also have endo on my bowels, that is the scary part. :(

Is your doc qualified to do surgery on bowels? Just be sure. My doc says he leaves a couple little tubes in your incisions which flow morphine into your abdomen for 2 days, then you pull them out, along with the oral pain meds, so be sure your doc gives you some good strong stuff. Ada also just had surgery and said the pain meds made it not so bad.

I want to have my surgery now too, so badly, but my boyfriend wants to take me on a trip in November and I hardly see him now as it is, then the holidays....gosh this year has gone fast! I still don't have anyone who can stay with me either, so that is another reason I keep having to putting it off. My sister is going through a divorce, lives in another state, and my boyfriend is a total workaholic and always traveling. I'm too scared to do it alone, but hopefully something will work out soon. My last period nearly killed me.

Be sure to get some gas medicine like over the counter Phazyme, I heard that helps a lot. I hope it all goes very well for you, look at this site, it is great.

I wish you a quick recovery!
