what is your experience post hysterectomy(partials and total)

I have thought about having a partial hysterectomy to ease the menstrual monthly pain/cramps/bleeding. I have been told(my mom) that doing a partial(keeping you ovaries) you will have hardly any major symptoms, as you would if you had a full. I am only 32 yrs old, I have 2 children, tubes tied, and had a uterine ablation(which I continue to bleed above normal:( I just wonder how me doing this, would effect my hormones etc..? I was put on BC for my endo, but it really screwed up my hormones. I was irritable ALOT, no lubido, dry, moody, and just miserable. It never helped with any of the pain, I felt worse. So I am not taking anything for it. I refuse to do the Lupron, because my pain is mostly from the adhesions. I only have endo pain when I am on my period. Any help/advice please Thanks JT
