I'm 17 years old and had my first lap 2 1/2 years ago when I was 15. After my lap I was put on the pill continuously so that I do not get a period since my pain was still so bad even after surgery. I've been on the pill continuosly for 2 1/2 years and latley ive had some breakthrough bleeding that didnt go away on its own. With the breakthrough bleeding returned the incredibly severe cramps that comes my my endo. My doctor told me to start taking 2 pills a day till the bleeding stopped so i did that and it stopped after a week so i dropped back 1 pill. Now however when i just take one its almost like my body built up a tolerance to it and i get the cramps and bleeding back. Does this mean my endo could have grown back after 2 1/2 years? Do you think i just need a stronger pill or could i possibly need another lap? Im going to the doctor thursday but just seeing if this has happened to anyone else?
