hi! this is my first post. i have been concerned and worried as to whether of not to take medroxyprogesterone while i am experiencing some light bleeding now. it started out as brownish discharge a few days ago, then mixed in with a deeper red and now bright red, textures ranging from dryish to mucuousy and mostly when i urinate, very little on the pad. i havent had a period since may and so i went to an ob-gyn two weeks ago to be checked. i'm not pregnant. she prescribed progesterone pills to induce the bleeding. so my question is, when is it good to start this? i can't tell right now if i am having a light period or spotting.... and if i should start the progesterone pills now to help my body release the backed up blood.... or just wait and let it do things naturally. i want to have a normal menstrual cycle. i used to be pretty regular. i havent been able to get through to my doctor or her assistant on the phone which is really stressing me out.... thanks for any replies...
