I have had it all Surgery, Lupron, Depo, and birth control (many types). I am only 24 and don't plan on having children soon. (By the way that is so unfair that my gyno reminds me an unmarried woman to have a baby when I so can't right now.)I am currently a Graduate Student. The problem I am having is I lost all my health insurance and cannot find a company to count endo as a non-preexisting condition. This means that any treatments I could have would have to come out of pocket. I just started Depo Last year and it seems to be working better than anything I have tried before without near as many side effects. But it cost $900 a shot. I cannot aford that and so I am terrified at loosing my health. I wanted to do the petal study but for some reason they say I don't qualify. I hate spending days and days in bed in pain and forced to take pain pills that knock me out.The fear of going back to pain is daunting.
