Grace- I have been on Lupron for almost 6 months. My doctor did tell me that Lupron slows down your healing if you have surgery while on it. So I wonder why your doc is giving it to you before your surgery. I had surgery in Aug and I am having another Oct 9 and I am on it so oh well. I get a 3 mo shot so there is nothing I can do about it now. I also take Aygestin so I won't have hot flashes and it helps. I do get really bad joint pain mainly in my right hip. The Lupron didn't work in my case the endo came back with a vengance while I wasn't having a period. That part was nice. Good luck.
