Hi Joy,
I am supposed to have a lap done too, but am now going to wait til after the holidays. It scares me too! Two women who I talk to quite frequently on here have just had laps and are recovering very well (Ada & D), with little pain, so that is encouraging! Here is a really helpful site I found on endo and preparing for surgery. I hope this helps!
