Pain doctors/specialists are way more understanding of your endo pain and don't make you feel like you are just a pill seeker. My doc did a sonogram to document why I need pain meds - he could tell that my ovaries were bound to my sides by lesions and would not move. I just think that synthetic hormones are way more dangerous than doctors tell us, so I've opted to do the natural stuff. I think the synthetic hormones "bandaid" the problem for a while, but eventually make it worse later in the future. Like I said, balancing my hormones helped with other awful symptoms, but i still get pain 2-3 days a month and need vicodin on those days. If your cramps are bad enough that Advil does not help, you should see a pain doc so you don't have to suffer. Maybe get your hormone levels checked too - that couldn't hurt. Your doc does not seem too helpful. I have been through that many times. It's worth finding someone good.
