Anyone go From Cobra to Medical? Just at the end of my rope!From: CP (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Sep 21 22:53:35 2007
My Cobra runs out the end of this month....I can;t afford it any longer. I am going to apply for Medical. Has anyone gone through this process? I am trying to get surgery done before the end of the month but my docs don;t even want to give me a Lap. I feel like I am about to become one of the many that have SERIOUS health problems that keep them disabled and poor and not able to afford health care. With all this pain and still not diagnosed (after 2 yrs of my surgery for dermoid cysts) and feeling like my docs just don't care, broke (can;t even try to live off of Credit cards since my ex ruined my credit since he burned down our home for arson and now I have a foreclosure on my credit), can't work, don't have much help to be cared for by family (many times I can barely get to the kitchen to get a glass of water), rent money, car pmt. and a dog to feed and care for - I just am at the end of my rope!
