Jessica,

I am happy to give you what I know. Wow, ALL of your hormones are much, much lower than they should be. Were you on Lupron? Or are you on a BC pill? Being on the pill for 17 years made my hormone levels very similar to yours, 5 years ago. Being that your Estradiol is way higher than your progesterone, you could definately have symptoms of estrogen dominance.

They include: •Endometriosis •Blood Clots •Elevated Blood Pressure •Fibroid Breasts •Infertility •Irregular Menstrual Flow •Uterine Fibroids •Breast Tenderness •Mood Swings •Uterine Cancer •Hair Loss •Depression •Weight Gain •Migraine Headaches •Spotting •Breast Cancer Risk •Insomnia •Inflammation •Abnormal Pap Smears •Fluid Retention •Cramping •Vaginal Dryness •Thyroid Imbalances •Decrease in Memory •Low or No Sex Drive

I know being on Lupron puts you in a temporary menopause, lowering your progesterone, so a lot of those symptoms go along with taking it, but they should get better, if you get some of your levels back to normal, (but stay away from Estrogen) The pill also lowers a woman's natural progesterone production. My progesterone level now is an 18, and I have very few of those symptoms, when I used to have 19 of them before! I've taken the bio-identical progesterone for 5 years to keep my levels balanced.

One woman "yelled" at me on here because she suggested that a woman could not have estrogen dominance after finishing Lupron, but even though ALL of your hormone levels diminish, estrogen still usually stays the highest, and progesterone is almost completely gone! Your progesterone should be at least a 15-30 to feel normal. Mine was a 2 and I felt horrible! 0.4 is almost nothing. It also depends on which day you had your hormones tested, but all of those levels you list are extremely low.

Here is a hormone chart that tells what your normal levels should be:

I'm so glad you got your levels checked! That is a big step in finding a way to feel better. Most women don't think their hormones can be such a mess at a young age, but they certainly can.

If you would like to ask me anything else regarding hormones, please e-mail me and I can give you some info and some places/doctors who can help you get your hormones back to normal or answer your questions more clearly, so you can feel better. Trust me, I was in the same boat, so I know how you feel.

Sincerely, Andrea
