Re: NovasureFrom: ada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Sep 21 17:51:27 2007
I had an ablation as well approx 2 years ago with my lap. My periods returned after approx 6 months. My doc had warned me that if I had adeno as he suspected that the ablation may not last in terms of the bleeding. I just had a hysterectomy (kept my ovaries) 9 days ago due to the adeno and pelvic congestion. Often times if you have fibroids, adeno or other diseases of the uterus the ablation will not last as the disease progresses. Or there is also the possiblity that it was simply not done well and did not remove enough lining of the uterus to stop your periods. Find a new doc if your continues to blow you off.
