I understand where you are coming from completely on prescription marijuana, have you asked your doctor about a non steroid anti-iflammatory drug called Celebrex? That seems to do the trick of relieving pain without leaving you numb in the brain like painkillers.I had a similar experience with doctors in which i felt as though if i asked for more of anything to ease the pain they made me feel like they thought i just wanted to get some painkillers; that was very frustrating.
