Re: does anyone have PCOS, adenomyosis and severe scar tissue? adaFrom: ada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 19 08:41:57 2007
My goodness aren't you a rude thing. Yes, a good doc can suspect it by seeing the uterus during a lap as well as through other tests. My doctor highly suspected it because of the enlarged uterus, the boggyness of it and the color of it which he saw during a previous lap. We did not jump into a hysterectomy. I waited 2 more years in which I had pain constantly. Guess what it came back as adenomyosis. A good doc who highly suspects will remove the uterus because it is the only way to treat it. Yes, you never jump into having your uterus removed. But, please do not be rude. I am a 38 year old woman with a master's degree. Point being, I am not stupid and I did my own research. I had endo, adeno and pelvic congestion. I did what was right for my body and I was letting Rayne know that if her doc really thinks she has adeno a hysterectomy it the only way to treat it. Is there a reason that your email was so rude? Please try to remember this is a supportive site. t Tue, 18 Sep 2007, anonymous wrote: > >YOU ONLY KNOW IF YOU HAVE ADENO, IF YOU HAVE A HYST, YOU CANNOT SAY YOU >HAVE IT IF YOU DON'T KNOW IT!! doctors can only SUSPECT it, I AM SORRY >TO TELL YOU > >At Tue, 18 Sep 2007, ada wrote: >> >>Anonymous, I am sorry but if she does have adenomyosis as she stated a >>hysterectomy (only removal of uterus) is the only way to stop the pain! >>Rayne, I had my uterus removed 6 days ago for adenomyosis.
