Anonymous, I am sorry but if she does have adenomyosis as she stated a hysterectomy (only removal of uterus) is the only way to stop the pain! Rayne, I had my uterus removed 6 days ago for adenomyosis. I also have endo which was removed during the surgery. I have never heard of drilling holes in the ovaries. That sounds a little strange? Adenomyosis does not lead to cancer... I still am recovering and dealing with pain from post op but can tell I no longer have that pain caused by my uterus.
