This does not sound right. You never need a hyst in any way for endo when excision can help. Progesterone has helped me with pcos, endo and other issues. I have had excision surgery. Have you looked into this? Have you tried the PCOS diet?

Drilling holes sounds barbaric. It doesn't control hormones! Have you had them tested? (hormone levels)

And excision removes adhesions and scar tissue.
