Hi,
I responded to your last inquiry but maybe you did not see it? I wrote
most of this to Jessie, because she asked about the same thing, but one
of the rules on here is we are not allowed to keep reposting our own
posts, so I asked you to just take a look at what I wrote to her and
e-mail me back, but that's ok.
THIS IS WHAT I WROTE TO HER AND MY LINKS ABOUT PROGESTERONE:
You have to see a doctor who is willing to test your hormones and many
of them refuse! They all say it's not necessary unless you're
approaching menopause. That is such a load of crap. I think many of us
have endo because we started off with a hormone imbalance (too much
estrogen) and doctors just put us all on the pill to "fix" it and forgot
about us.
Anyway, that is my theory and the doctors who I now see, think the same
thing. I will give you the link to my pharmacy (they have a lot of
informative info), as well as a hormone chart that says what your normal
levels should be and a doctor referral list, that gives the names of
doctors in every state who use natural hormones. Usually they are the
only ones who will cooperate and test your hormones if you ask.
You can also find a good doctor where you live by typing in the words
"compound pharmacy" and the state you are in, and they can also refer
you to someone. A compounding pharmacy is the only place you can get
the bio-identical progesterone & you need a script for it.
