I agree very much with anonymous! You need a new doctor, an endo
specialist. I understand being disappointed, but at the same time it's
so much better that this doctor is telling you directly that he can't
help you. Too many doctors do lap after lap on their patients with
endo, nevermind that they don't do any good. At least this guy isn't
running you through that mill.
Just because he's "given up" doesn't mean that you should! I heard
pretty much the same stuff from the obgyn who did my first lap and
couldn't find any endo. She sent me for a GI workup which of course
could not explain the pain because I had endo. Then I took things into
my own hands, found an excision specialist, and now I'm almost two
months post-op from my lap and feeling better than I have for years -
there is hope!
