Re: anyone got chronic fatique with their endo?pls respondFrom: D (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Sep 11 19:42:13 2007
Congratulations! The nutritionist sounds like a good idea, I imagine some of what you're feeling is still due to getting over the cigarettes and hopefully they will be able to help you. Endo made me really tired all the time (I'm not a smoker). Getting into pain management and getting the pain under control helped somewhat, but not nearly enough! I would come home from work, lay down on the couch and stay there until it was time to go to bed, then I'd spend most of Saturday catching up on more sleep/rest and sometimes Sunday, too. I had low grade fevers almost everyday that didn't help - the doctors never did have an explanation for that except that it was from the inflammation, and after I had my excision done the fevers went away. I'm still building up my stamina, there's quite a ways to go. I am completely out of shape - it's so strange to remember back 4 years ago when I used to love to get up early and run a couple miles before breakfast! Finding a good endo specialist who can thoroughly excise the disease is the best way I know of to get relief, there are some helpful links at the bottom of this post...
