Ada, Please keep me updated on how your surgery goes. You will be in my prayers that everything will go perfectly and you will finally be out of pain! If you need someone to talk to, I will be here! I finally got my insurance letter stating what my "exclusion" is. It says they are not going to cover any disease, disorder or surgery of the ovaries or infertility treatment. They said all I have to do is fax my doctor, ask him to fax them, and tell them that endo is not a disease of the ovaries, but of the uterus and having a hysterectomy has nothing to do with fertility, so I think I'm good! And now, my deductible is only $500 instead of $10,000. Whew. My doctor was smart to not officially diagnose me with endo yet, or they would have excluded it! They found out about my ovarian cyst and I told them that was the reason I was seeing a pain specialist, so my endo should be covered. Thank God. Big relief. My boyfriend still wants me to see the Chinese healer guy first though, but I just want the surgery over with. His schedule is so busy, that I don't know when he will find the time to do all of this for me. I am just lucky I have someone so sweet and understanding through all of this. Try to stay calm and positive and I know everything will go well for you, Ada. Your Friend, Andrea :)
