Re: Starting Progesterone?

Hi there,

I have never done the cream, but am on the bio-identical capsules. I think they are more accurately measured & you need a script for them. I have heard that the cream does help a lot of women, though too. Let's see....I take 150 mg of it days 1-15 of my cycle, then 300 mg days 15-28 of my cycle.

If you take it on your period, it seems to calm your symptoms. The cream should not interfere with your pill at all. In fact, I've been told that being on the pill lowers your natural progesterone production, so you could do the cream at any time, with or without the pill and using it while on your period or the week before would make you less moody, less bloating. If that does not give you the results you want, the capsules are very good. Took away a lot of yucky symptoms I was having, but I still get bad pain 2-3 days a month. Hope it works well for you!
