Hey Deirdre, it's KellyFrom: Kelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Aug 29 20:21:10 2007
I am in South Bend, IN (northern IN) I know that I need an exision Dr. There is just no way it could happen before a year. So something has to be done in the meantime, I'm not just going to let Endo win, you know. My pain Doc called me in my normal amount of pills for the month, so I should be able to handle the pain most of the time. I just want the lap to see where it all is. The first diagnostic lap was a joke. This OB does have a good reputation for his surgeries, and he is a very honest person. Obviously, there are some things I don't quite agree with though. I need to know if there is endo on my bladder or bowel...I know only excision specialists can remove that. I feel like I will have better luck in pain management when there is clear evidence... no one can question why I hurt so badly, you know? I'm even to the point now that if this surgery buys me some months with less pain, I'm willing. It's just so hard to try and explain all these feelings I'm having. I really appreciate the responses. Any other advice/suggestions...feel free! Thanks for being here :) Kelly
