Re: Has anyone had a presacral neurectomy?

Thanks for the reply all.
This still gives me a lot to think about.
I have not heard that it was "old school" but I did notice it was a bit
difficult to find current articles on the subject. I am starting to
think that side effects are kind of rare, but effects to the bowl and
bladder are possible.
My dr. would remove anything he found - right now I am scheduled for
the lap with consent to remove anything he finds, a ultrasound found a
polyp that he wants to remove during the lap.
Erica, my dr. put it to me pretty much the same way. That since my
pain is so cronic and severe and seems to be getting worse as time goes
by, it will not hurt me to have it done. I just don't want to jump into
something that may add more complications. But I am leaning towards
willing to give it a shot if it will give me some releif. I am glad to
hear you are doing well after yours.
