Natasha-Believe me-you will not get the whole story about Lupron from Docs.
They will tell you the action Lupron medically has on your body, and some of the possible side effects.
I know there are some women who had it and said it was tolerable. You need
to research all you can about this drug. I had Lupron for about three months after my lap.
During the first two weeks, you have an "estrogen surge". Let me tell ya, it doubled my pain.
After about a month, I statred noticing these weird side effects. My body
was so fatigued, but I felt like I wanted to crawl out of my skin. I never was
able to get sleep. My joints and bones started hurting (it's weird). Hot
flashes like crazy. The absolute worst part about it was my emotional problems it caused.
I would cry and sob and not know why. The next second I would be so irritated
I could kill someone. That was the worst time in my life. After the 2nd shot, my endo pain pretty much went away
but it was NOT worth it to me to go through that hell. It's been 5 months since my last injection.
Sometimes I still don't feel right. I would never in a million years go through
another Lupron shot. I'm not trying to bring you down, I just wanted to share
my personal story with it. DON'T let anyone pressure you in to getting that shot if you are unsure!
Best of Luck to You,

Kelly
