Sometimes it is helpful to alternate tylenol and ibuprophen-they do not have interaction problems-so if you take a dose of tylenol and 2 hours later take a dose of ibuprophen-and keep repeating-you may have better results. These are not narcotics so there isn't a risk of addiction, just don't use more than the maximum per day on each. Also-try to avoid caffein or drugs with caffein in them such as excedrin-they help, but then cause rebound headaches. Good Luck!!
