Endo and Sciatica??

Hi All,

I have recently been doing some research about Endo to see if perhaps my problem with sciatica may be related with Endo. Has anyone else researched this? I seem to have problems with my sciatic nerve pain everytime I suspect a larger ovarian cyst or other endo problem.

I have had Endo for about 13 years now. I have had intermittent Sciatic nerve problems ever since I was pregnant with my last baby, about 5 years ago. My OBGYN told me that the sciatica should go away after the birth of my daughter, however, it never did.

Since the birth of my daughter, I have had a miscarriage, an eptopic pregnancy, surgery to remove the attachment of what was left of the tube from my stomach wall, and finally, last summer I had surgery to remove a 9cm cyst & my left ovary. Now, I am experiencing the same pain as I did last summer, as a result of the large cyst, however, all of the pain is now on my right side.

The weirder thing is... now my sciatic nerve pain, which was ALWAYS down my left side is starting on my right side.

Perhaps it's related, perhaps it's not. I am going to schedule an appointment with an GYN soon, if I don't end up going to the emergency. Just thought I would ask to see if anyone else with Endo, has Sciatica?
