I am also having a hysterectomy in Sept due to adenomyosis, pelvic
congestion(vericose veins in my uterus) and endo. Though I do not have
your problem I can relate as I am also in the Katrina area (the
northshore of New Orleans) and know the struggles of finding a
specialist. I will be keeping my ovaries but decided to get rid of the
uterus to take care of the adeno and pelvic congestion. I feel that in
the future if I ever need surgery again for the endo I will travel to
Atlanta to the CEC to see a specialist. Is it possible for you to
travel to Atlanta, it seems that your problems would need a specialist
to unravel the endo adhesions and preserve your organs. Good luck. Ada
