My first period was a lil painful, but more like the "normal" painful periods that we all suffer from. It wasnt as bad as i thought!! Since i was still taking my birth control it only lasted like 2-3 days and it was light. They do say that the first period after a lap can be paiful, but i thought of the worse and it wasnt bad at all! Good Luck, let us know how it goes.
