Denied PPO coverage

I currently have a HMO (bad idea). I went through a lengthly appeals process with them trying to get some coverage to see Dr. Redwine in Bend, Oregon for exision. They denied me the whole way saying I should just have a hysterectomy and go back on Lupron.

So I applied for Individual PPo coverage and yesterday they denied me as well. They said they would re-evaluate my application for coverage if I was symptom free for 6 months! Endo is chronic, painful disease! How can I be symtom free for six months if I am seeking coverage because I need exision?!

How can health insurance companies deny people like this? Where does this leave me?!

I feel like the chances of me having a normal life are slipping away...like the possibility of gettting pregnant are far off, and like nobody (especially "health care professionals" get it).

Has anybody else been through all of this? What do you do now?
